Below are a few case studies which highlight the life-changing service The Mix provide

Excellent help and directions for next steps on who to contact, where to go etc…that gave me hope in my situation. I felt so much more positive when I previously had nowhere to turn. Thank you. I can begin somewhere now to get my life back on track

I first contacted Get Connected (now The Mix) a while ago when I discovered I was pregnant but my boyfriend didn’t want to keep the baby. I had a termination and I regret it – it’s not something you can forget. Then when I tried to get pregnant again I ended up having another termination. I just wish it had never happened. Sometimes I feel like I can talk to my mum or my boyfriend, but sometimes I just can’t. I try and get on with everything and I try to cope but it doesn’t always work. When I call Get Connected they always help me and put me in touch with the right people to resolve my problems. I would recommend their service to others.

I felt like I was talking to a friend, and a real human being who wouldn’t judge me and only want help me out. Never did I feel like they didn’t care or I was just another kid. I felt important to them and I knew that I could tell them anything and they would only use that to find the best help for me.
